In 1976, Antwerp underground filmmaker/artist Ludo Mich buried a prop of his film 'Lysistrata' right after the shooting of the film, in the backyard of the ICC . The film: a free adaptation of the greek play by Aristophanes in which all the actors perform naked throughout. He shot the film entirely in the cellars of the ICC without permission. The prop: a cows' head as symbol for the minotaur. 2005: he literally digs into his past, digging for the minotaur, in an archaelogical performance he did for the ICC project which showed in Muhka and Factor44.This film documents the performance, as we travel through the tasteful anecdotes that accompanied his film career. |
